Bookkeeping is a pain for a lazy person like me 😅, but keeping track of expenses is a genuinely good habit. So I used the Craft API to build an Apple Shortcut that makes bookkeeping fast enough that I'll actually do it. Key features 1. Multiple input methods (pick what's fastest in the moment): ○ Take Photo — snap a receipt/invoice instantly ○ Choose an Image — select an existing photo or screenshot from Photos ○ Choose a File — attach PDFs or downloaded invoices ○ Dictate — hands-free logging with voice ○ Clipboard — paste copied text in one tap 2. Built-in Apple text recognition + dictation — converts images/audio into text using Apple's native capabilities (no extra apps/services) 3. Apple Intelligence parsing — converts your input into structured bookkeeping data (no third-party AI API required)
