My complex entry, a multi-interface architecture: Baby OS The challenge: Build a system that works for parents at any level—whether you're chronicling your baby's life directly in Craft, glancing at the dashboard at baby-os.net, or asking Claude to analyze patterns via MCP. The code is open source on GitHub—host the dashboard yourself or skip it entirely. Craft is your single source of truth. Why I made it: My wife and I are both teachers expecting our first baby in April. I love data and journaling. And what I love about Craft is that it goes beyond a database. You can track data in a collection, then enrich it with journal entries, drawings, or mind maps. What it does: Baby OS answers the critical questions—When did they last eat? How long have they been awake? When will they finally sleep through the night?—while giving you space to build a rich chronicle of your baby's life. Log feedings and sleep in seconds via Shortcuts, then come back to Craft to add photos, journal entries, or drawings that capture precious moments. Claude helps you find patterns (like what affects sleep quality), the dashboard gives you quick glances at the day's stats, and Craft keeps it all together – searchable, private, and yours forever. I really wanted to make something that highlighted the beautiful documents you can create in Craft and I don't think there's anything more beautiful to add than memories with my baby.
